AMBOSELI

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is Kenya's 2nd most popular park after Maasai Mara. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. The park has a great concentration of wildlife especially the big five.

OL TUKAI LODGE

Ol Tukai Lodge is set at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro with its breath-taking scenery and unique wildlife. The Lodge is set at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park, which is renowned for its elephant population. Writers have described Ol Tukai and the surrounding Amboseli with its breath-taking scenery and unique wildlife as ‘A home for the gods’.

Depart Nairobi at 6am in a safari Landcruiser. Get to Oltukai by 12 noon. After lunch it’s time for some adventure! Game drive o clock till sunset. Be back to the hotel by 6pm just in time for dinner and an overnight warm stay.
