Today we see and touch the Atlantic ocean! Breakfast!!!! And then, put on your hat for a scenic drive drive to the lovely coastal town of Swakopmund (5 hours), via Spitzkoppe to explore the Namib desert. Have a stopover in Usakos, one of the most beautiful little towns in Namibia with the most amazing green mountains surrounding it. Stop in Spitzkoppe to explore ancient rock formations. Dinner on the boardwalk along the shores of Swakopmund.

After breakfast we will then embark on a short historic tour of Swakopmund. It was founded by German colonists in 1892 and still retains its European-style architecture and culture. It is a place where German, African, and other influences coexist and create a unique and captivating atmosphere. After Lunch it’s the Desert tour!! on the back of camels along huge sand dunes. Experience the immensity of the desert and appreciate the breath-taking views….and the smell of the camels. You will want to rest after the heat of the desert and relax next to the beach or swimming pool. Dinner and overnight spend in Swakopmund.

Some more outdoor fun, today we climb Dune 7 outside Walvis bay. Dune 7 is the highest dune in Namibia. The dune has been measured at over 1,256 feet and is named Dune 7 because it is the seventh dune one encounters after crossing the river Tsauchab. Traveling to Dune 7 and climbing the dune is a 3hour excursion. Driving to and from Dune 7 is spectacular, the desert on one side and the Atlantic ocean on the other! After lunch we tour more of Walvis bay and its surrounding places e.g. the sandwich harbour lagoon. We end the day in a more spectacular fashion, a sunset cruise! If lucky we might spot a variety of large sea mammals (whales) and dolphins. Dinner and overnight spend in Swakopmund.

After breakfast we hit the road, say goodbye to Swakopmund and embark on a 3-hour drive to Okahandja. Today is chill day in Okah, one of the hottest places in Namibia. Enjoy the afternoon at the resort swimming or reading a book. We will have dinner and stay over the night in Okahandja.

After breakfast, we will Spend the morning at the Hot springs of Gross Barmen The main attraction of the resort is the health and hydro medical spa centre. This centre is features thermal springs and provides a full range of treatments and massages. The nearby dam attracts more than 150 different species of birds making it a hotspot for bird watching. The water of the hot spring comes from a depth of 2,500 m and exits the ground at 65 °C and is cooled down to around 40 °C for the thermal bath. There is also a beautiful cold water swimming pool. After lunch, we drive to Windhoek do some sightseeing and last day shopping. To conclude the adventure, we will have a special dinner for the last, last, last goodbyes.

Time to pause the adventure with the attitude ‘We’ll be back soon’ Take some time to pack your bags, have a last Namibian breakfast, and then after check out, we take a last scenic drive to look over Windhoek one last time to say our goodbyes at the airport. Memories made forever!!
